Asantee Mitchell
Born to Trinidadian parents, Asantee Mitchell is an ambitious, courageous young woman, who received a TATUCA scholarship in 2015 and graduated with her Associates in Marketing. Asantee continues to pursue her college journey by graduating with her Bachelors in Mental Health from CUNY School of Professional Studies class of 2022 with plans to pursue a master’s in social work. Exploring her passion of helping others, Asantee is currently a certified life coach, where she has conducted programs and workshops with The Boys and Girls Club, CUNY Universities, Brooklyn
Middle Schools and, through her company, Efayes Life Coaching. She has published over 50 books, now available on Amazon, through her publishing company Efaye Inks Publishing Company. Her book series, “Syllabus, Self-Improvement” gives tools and encourages self-improvement. Her grief and loss book, “Living Without in Peace,” is a workbook and journal on how to grieve properly. Asantee is also the Chief Executive for Project Dream Academy, an online youth program accessible to all students. She is currently a full-time employee at Northwell Health Hospital and is continuing her education as a Social Worker. She serves on the Board of Black Student Union and Black Male Initiative at her CUNY School of Professional Studies. As a functioning member of TATUCA, she intends to give back to the community while helping this noble organization fulfill its mission goals for which it was founded.
